JEFFERSON CITY | A single-word amendment passed Tuesday in the Missouri House seeks to add a restriction on abortion to a bill combating doctor shopping and methamphetamine production.

The bill as presented would increase reporting requirements on sales of pseudoephedrine, the methamphetamine precursor found in some cold medicines, and also create a database of prescription drug sales.
